Football season

WEll I waited til week three, but think i am going to get in a little football handicapping this week. I dont have a ton of funds available to throw into a sportsbook, so am going to start small. I threw in a little mad $ into bodog, and am going to make a few picks this week. I am going to check my picks against the goldsheet, but it looks like i will take the following single bets:

Chicago -4
Tennessee +11
Baltimore -7
Philly -6.5
Atlanta -4

I am going to also play a 5 team parlay of all the games.

Well I made my picks. I ended upo not taking any straight bets this week. I only wanted to play with $35 just to make the games more interesting.

I just made the picks for fun really. I have hit a 5 team parlay before but never a 7 teamer.

The second pick for the week is so that I have a little action on the home team. I really couldnt take them with a 7 point favorite, so I teased out the action, and since I was at it took the Bengals with a tease and just to make it look good threw in the Eagles as a teased dog vs SF.

Those are my picks for the week. $36+$3.60 bonus to win 1 million..... I mean to win $759.51. I'd be happy to break even., and really really hope that the eagles cover on the 49ers! if not I'm screwed :-p


I think the key to sports betting is not to bet an amount that will ruin your weekend if you lose. My bets wont affect me if I win or lose, but will make the games a little more interesting ;-)
